This four-week series is based on the film A Knight's Tale. As you move through the series you will help students 1) discern which issues in life are eternally important, 2) choose to seek God's direction while following our hearts' desires, 3) d appreciate different personalities within the body of Christ, and 4) discover how God views royalty differently than we do.
Lesson 1: What Really Matters--The goal of this lesson is to understand the very high demand being made by Jesus in these verses: He wants all of who we are. (Luke 9:23-25)
Lesson 2: God's Desire For Our Hearts--In this lesson, students discuss how putting our trust in the Lord and delighting ourselves in Him creates desires that will be in keeping with God's own desires. (Psalm 37:3-4)
Lesson 3: Different is Good--Students examine the truth that maturity is displayed more in how we choose to get along than whom we like to be around. (1 Corinthians 3:1-9)
Lesson 4: Recognizing Royalty-- This lesson focuses on the difference between our idea of royalty and God's idea of royalty. (1 Samuel 16:1-13)
