Product Summary

Nazarenes will be inspired by the radical faith of our matriarchs who stepped beyond church and cultural barriers to heed God's call. These were not militant feminists, but committed servants of God who offered their gifts and graces to spread the message of scriptural holiness. With pure hearts and "holy boldness" they ministered wherever God led them, including remote villages of India, the sweeping plains of Africa, the scorching deserts or city slums of the United States.

The documentary was written and produced in 2001 by Reverend Janine Metcalf, an adjunct professor at Nazarene Theological Seminary, pastor, evangelist, and former broadcasting journalist. The presentation is designed to be a catalyst for prayer, careful study and grace filled discussion about an issue that impacts the future identity and mission of the church.
