Reuben R. Welch
Dr. Reuben Welch pastored churches in Hawaii, Arizona, and southern California before becoming professor and then chaplain at Pasadena/Point Loma College, where he served for more than thirty years. He wrote thirteen books, numerous articles, and taught a Sunday school class at San Diego First Nazarene Church for twenty-two years. Reuben was married to Mary Jo Welch for more than sixty years. They had three children—Pamela, Susan, and Rob. At this writing, Reuben is a joyful, healthy ninety-nine-year-old living in La Jolla, California.
