Our Church: Student
Our Church is designed to help leaders guide students through a membership program that will help shape their view of the church and the role they play in the body of Christ at this pivotal point in their faith journey.
Membership in the church is about understanding who the church is, what it means to belong to a body of believers, and loving the imperfect expression of love that is God’s gathered people.
Students will spend 4 sessions learning and discussing the answers to these 4 big questions:
· What is the Church of the Nazarene?
· What do Nazarenes believe?
· Who is the church?
· What does the church do?
Students will discover the distinct core values of the Church of the Nazarene. Older elementary students and preteens will gain a greater knowledge about the church, grow in their love for the church, and learn what it means to join their faith community.
