Our Church: Leader's Guide
Our Church is designed to help leaders guide students through a membership program that will help shape their view of the church and the role they play in the body of Christ at this pivotal point in their faith journey.
Membership is about understanding who the church is and what it means to belong to a body of believers. Our Church is designed to help leaders guide students through a membership program that will help shape their view of the church and the role they play in the body of Christ at this pivotal point in their faith journey.
Students will spend 4 sessions learning and discussing the answers to these 4 big questions:
· What is the Church of the Nazarene?
· What do Nazarenes believe?
· Who is the church?
· What does the church do?
Students will discover the roots, theology, and denominational location of the Church of the Nazarene. Older elementary students and preteens will grow in their knowledge about their church and become excited to participate in the life and ministries of their faith community.
