Youth Leader's Guide
Faith for Life provides a Wesleyan perspective to Scripture and faith while creating interactive and engaging experiences and discussions for students. Written by youth ministry professionals and pastors, Faith for Life is approachable and equips leaders with the resources needed to connect with students.
This quarter, we will look at the social aspect of a life devoted to the mission and purposes of God. We will also look at the lives of people who will remind us of love and truth because they had been touched by the unyielding love of Jesus.
Unit 1: Social Dimension of God’s Mission
We will take a look at the social aspect of a life devoted to the mission and purposes of God. In this unit, students will begin by learning that Jesus doesn’t just preach good news to the religious folks. Instead, Jesus has a deep love and compassion for all people, especially those who suffer and live on the margins of society.
Unit 2: All We Need is Love
During this unit, each of the characters studied will remind us of love and truth. We will see such a deep love from these people—Thomas, Paul, Timothy, Cornelius, Jude, and, of course, John. Each of these people understood love because they had been touched by the unyielding love of Jesus.
The Faith for Life format was designed with both the teacher and the students in mind. Created with an intuitive, easy-to-teach lesson structure.
