Product Summary

This four-week series on Monty Python and the Holy Grail focuses on the stupidity of things that influence our behavior and the consequences that lead us away from God's best in our lives. As you move through the series you will encounter such topics as 1) our images and perspectives of God, 2) the hurtful nature of our words, 3) the danger in labeling and judging, and 4) the importance of valuing God's perfect plan over our own imperfect one.

Lesson 1: When God Shows Up--This lesson takes a look at the many things that change our perceptions of God, and how that perception may end up very far from the image that scripture portrays. (Isaiah 40:12-18, 28-31)

Lesson 2: Words Matter--Most times the pain we inflict on others has little to do with physical fighting, and a lot to do with the words that we speak. This lesson examines the hurtful nature of the spoken word, and the responsibility of Christ's followers to make them helpful instead. (Proverbs 13:3)

Lesson 3: Planks and Specks--Labeling and judging are two things that Christians should never do. This lesson digs into the danger of forming initial impressions based on outward appearance or hearsay. (Matthew 7:1-6)

Lesson 4: When Plans Fail--Doesn't it seem like every time we take our own direction, feeling we know best, we end up in a huge mess? This lesson discusses the importance of choosing God's plan over our own. (Romans 8:28)
