Product Summary

Teens are making decisions that will determine their quality of life now and for their long-range future. This unit looks honestly at some major life issues and helps teens choose lifestyles that produce personal health and spiritual growth.

Lesson 1: Too Close to the Edge?--Although risky lifestyles and behaviors may seem fun and exciting, they eventually lead to self-destruction. (Proverbs 1:10-19; 14:12; Matthew 16:21-25)

Lesson 2: Temple Abuse--Because God created our bodies and our souls, we should take good care of ourselves, which will allow God to work in and through us. (1 Corinthians 6:12-13, 19-20; Ephesians 5:15-18; 1 Timothy 4:8)

Lesson 3: Victory over Violence--God desires Christians to lead lifestyles characterized by peace. (Micah 4:3; Romans 12:17-21)

Lesson 4: The Perils of Promiscuity--God's design for sexual relationships is based on sacrificial love that respects other people, rather than on self-centered interests that use and harm others. (1 Thessalonians 4:3-8; Ephesians 5:1-3)
