The Ghost and the Darkness

This four-week series is based on the film The Ghost and the Darkness . As you move through the series you will help students 1) understand who our enemy is, 2) understand spiritual armor, 3) conquer their fears, and 4) accept spiritual victory which only Christ can grant.

Lesson 1: Know the Lion--The goal of this lesson is to help students understand to realize Satan is our spiritual enemy whose goal is to destroy our lives. (Ephesians 6:12-13; 1 Peter 5:6-10)

Lesson 2: Prepare for Battle-- This lesson helps students discuss the reality of spiritual battles and understand how spiritual armor equips us to face them. (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Lesson 3: Conquer Your Fear--This lesson helps students learn that we have no need to fear Satan if we rely on our Savior. (Hebrews 2:9, 14-15; Psalm 23:4-5)

Lesson 4: Be Victorious--This lesson recognizes that our victory is in Christ, and we must depend upon him to receive it. (1 Corinthians 15:54-58)
