Product Summary

This four-week series is based on the animated movie The Incredibles, which is about Bob Parr (a.k.a. Mr. Incredible) and his wife, Helen (a.k.a. Elastigirl), and their three children. The Parr's are superheroes who have been forced to suppress their powers and live as normal civilians. These four lessons are designed to help your students understand that true love is unconditional; that by supporting one another, they can more easily overcome obstacles; that they are to strive to live in peace with others, especially their family; and that God has given each of them unique gifts and abilities.

Lesson 1: No-Matter-What Love--The goal of this lesson is to help teens understand that unconditional love never gives up-no matter what. (Romans 5:6-10; John 3:16; 1 John 4:16)

Lesson 2: Together, We Can--The goal of this lesson is to help students realize that by supporting one another, they can more easily overcome temptations and other obstacles. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, 12; John 17:20-25)

Lesson 3: Family Relationships--The goal of this lesson is to help students realize the importance of living in peace with everyone-especially our families. (Proverbs 17:1, Matthew 5:9; Romans 12:18; 1 Timothy 5:8)

Lesson 4: Everyone Is a Superhero--The goal of this lesson is to help students understand that we all have unique qualities and God-given gifts, intended for building up the body of Christ and glorifying God. (Galatians 6:2; Ephesians 4:2-7, 11-13)
