This four-week series is based on the movie X-Men 2: United, which is a story of revenge and the struggle to survive. The main plot focuses on Mr. William Stryker's desire to get revenge on Professor Xavier for failing to cure his mutant son. In addition to the theme of revenge, an underlying theme is the X-men's struggle to survive in a world where they are scarcely accepted. As the X-men seek to live a peaceable existence, they must protect society from one of their own, the infamous Magneto.
