Youth Quizzing is a unique and exciting ministry for youth that combines Bible study, mentoring, competition, fellowship, discipleship, and mission. In addition to developing a devotion to God’s Word and lifelong habits of Bible study in youth, quizzing creates and builds up a community of young disciples and servants, steadily adding to a vast pool of leadership and continually strengthening the church and its ministries. More and more teenagers and youth leaders are realizing just what an impact quizzing can have in their lives and in the lives of people around the world! With novice and experienced quizzer materials, Youth Quizzing invites students of all experience levels to enjoy and engage in this discipleship experience. I believe if there was only one program our youth could have, the best one would be Youth Bible Quizzing. Not only are the students in the word on a daily basis as they study the assigned books, there is also a weekly discussion group. And then, to top it off, they get to meet once a month with students who have also been studying the same scripture, and have a chance for friendly competition using the material they have studied. Individuals and teams can be involved....no certain number from a given church required for competition, since churches can combine to make a team. The overnight "retreat" once a month for competition is where friendships are made and deepened. Regional and National competition are also earned for those who take their studying very seriously.
